Als Prozessor nutzt Honor im schnellsten MagicBook Pro den Intel Core i7-85650U der achten Generation. Dabei handelt es sich um einen stromsparenden Quad-Core-SoC, der für die Nutzung in Ultrabooks entwickelt wurde. Dieser kann Geschwindigkeiten im Boost von bis zu 4,6 GHz erreichen, dafür muss allerdings Stromversorgung und Kühlung auf hohe Geschwindigkeit ausgelegt sein. Die Lüfter des Geräts sollen bei geringer Last mit nur 25 dB flüsterleise laufen, über 7 Temperatursensoren im Laptop wird deren Geschwindigkeit reguliert. Ob das reicht, um den Prozessor auch während des Boost-Takts ausreichend lange kühl zu halten, muss sich im Praxis-Test zeigen.

Außerdem sind bis zu 8 GB RAM, eine 512 GB SSD und eine Nvidia GeForce MX250 als GPU verbaut. Ob es möglich ist, den Arbeitsspeicher oder die SSD-Kapazität zu erweitern, ist noch unklar. Bis zu 14 Stunden Akku-Laufzeit verspricht Honor mit dem verbauten 56 Wh Akku-Pack. Außerdem ganz nett: Die Full-Size-Tastatur kommt mit RGB-Hintergrundbeleuchtung und das Display bietet Touch-Funktionalität.

Am 29. Juli sollen die Geräte in China auf den Markt kommen, einen Termin für Deutschland gibt es noch nicht. Die Preise des MagicBook Pro starten bei 5.499 Yuan (etwa 717 Euro) für die Version mit i5-Prozessor. Der schnellere i7 kostet dann 6.199 Yuan (etwa 809 Euro). Die Preise werden in Deutschland vermutlich höher ausfallen.

Schutzmaßnahmen in allen Wertstoffhöfen im Landkreis Landshut
Stefan Scheibenzuber ist erster Bürgermeister in Wörth an der Isar - er hat die Bürgerversammlung moderiert. Im BR-Gespräch sagte er, dass in den rund 35 Wertstoffhöfen im Landkreis die Mitarbeiter jetzt speziell geschult werden. Außerdem wir es künftig separate Lagerbehältnisse in Form von Gitterboxen geben, sodass Lithium-Ionen-Akkus nicht unkontrolliert abgegeben werden. Es soll eine Art "Thekenabgabe" entstehen, sodass die Lithium-Ionen fachgerecht von den Mitarbeitern vorab sortiert werden. Bisher wurde Elektroschrott in Containern entsorgt, Laptops mit Lithium-Ionen-Akkus einfach weggeworfen. "Das muss jetzt separat bei der Theke abgegeben werden", erklärte Scheibenzuber. Das bedeutet aber auch mehr Arbeitszeit - deswegen wird es wohl Zusatzkräfte auf den Wertstoffhöfen geben.
